Hydraulics tensioners

Hydraulic tensioners enable different tie rods and base plates to be used with the same cylinder bushing , depending on the bolts to be tightened. They are compatible with BS1560 / ANSI B16.5 / API flanges.

Most models have the following features:
- automatic return by internal springs.
- coloured paint marker on approach to the maximum stroke of 10 mm.
- anti-overrunning system by leakage
- secure to prevent breakage of the seal.
- system to compensate for misalignment of the piston in relation to the cylinder.

Can be used with a 1500 bar single-acting pump; manual, electric or pneumatic.

Diameter: from M10 to M100
Capacity: up to 3800 Kn

Advantages of tension clamping :

Direct tension - Tension is applied directly to stretch the stud, eliminating the problem of friction and losses.
Precision - The force applied is controlled, as it is directly proportional to the pressure exerted on the tensioner.
Reliability - The constant application of force ensures uniformity and accuracy of the force applied to the assembly. Uniform bolt loads ensure extremely high accuracy by applying a constant force.
