Temano® Underwater drilled anchors

Temano® Underwater drilled anchors

Overview
  • TEMANO provides anchoring solutions designed to minimize environmental impact and to deliver 54 tonnes pull-out capacity per anchoring point.

Temano® anchor characteristics:
  • Pull-out capacity: 54 tonnes per anchoring point (equivalent to 100 kg of material)
  • Operates on all seabed types
  • Reduced impact on the seabed
  • Ground bearing pressure lower than a human footstep
  • Operating fluid: propylene glycol (colourless, water-miscible, ocean-friendly)
  • Service life: 50 years and more (duplex stainless)

Steps to perform an underwater anchoring:
  • Positioning
  • Deployment of the drilling tripod
  • Adjustment of the legs
  • Drilling
  • Injection of natural cement
  • Anchor test

Environmental benefits of the Temano® anchor:
→ Reduced environmental impact throughout its life cycle

Production / Installation
  • Operates using food-grade hydraulic fluid
  • Set in natural cement
  • Ground pressure exerted by the installation machine is less than that of a human footstep
  • Low raw material consumption

Use
  • Fixed anchorage: no slippage possible
  • Small footprint for better preservation of the seabed
  • Low carbon footprint during maintenance phases (lightweight installation)

End of life
  • Can be removed using methods similar to those used for installation

Areas of application:
  • Boat mooring
  • Yacht mooring
  • Defence
  • Marine renewable energy (floating solar and wind power)
  • Buoyage
  • Aquaculture
