Temano® textile shackle:
Textile shackles made of 100% Dyneema® are protected by four layers of sheaths and are exclusively used on wear parts made of high molecular weight HDPE — a material chemically compatible with Dyneema®. This material is the only one to offer the necessary mechanical performance, with high safety factors, while maintaining a compact size.
Thanks to their neutral buoyancy in water, a slight tension on the shackles is enough to limit the back-and-forth movements caused by oscillations of the surface buoy when unoccupied. These oscillations are, over time, responsible for loosening of the shackles or wear phenomena due to friction.
Our high-performance textile shackles offer resistance from 3 to 100 tons and more, to suit all types of moorings, from the lightest to the most demanding.
