MAG-TRACK Magnetic Anomaly TRACKer

The portable MAG-TRACK detector is a high-tech device used to verify the magnetic signature of a clearance diver and their equipment. Before each dive, the diver’s magnetic emissions are measured to minimize the risk of triggering magnetically sensitive devices.

• The MAG-TRACK detector plays a critical role in mine countermeasure operations. According to NATO standard AEODP-07 of STANAG 2897, all equipment used in mine warfare and clearance, including that of clearance divers, must undergo individual magnetic inspection. This inspection is based on the requirement that equipment must not exceed a defined magnetic signature threshold at a specified reference distance.
• The MAG-TRACK detector is a user-friendly instrument fully compliant with AEODP-07 of STANAG 2897, offering performance capabilities that ensure
verification of the magnetic cleanliness of inspected equipment. • Detection is carried out via dynamic measurement. If the predefined magnetic
threshold is exceeded, the system alerts the operator with a fault signal (red indicator light and audible alarm). The operator must then re-check the affected area one or more times to confirm the anomaly. • 

This detection device ensures the diver’s magnetic safety in accordance with current NATO threshold standards. It facilitates the exclusion of non- compliant equipment and the identification of anomaly sources, without requiring specific expertise in magnetism. On-site inspection helps avoid immobilizing and transporting equipment for testing.
