PROCONCEPT is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of equipment for the food industry.

Our achievements are based on an in-depth knowledge of agri-food processes and are always designed as closely as possible to the specific needs and constraints of each manufacturer.

In 1991, with over 20 years of experience in the agri-food industry, Jean-Louis Sourbès founded IRTECH to design and develop innovative industrial processes, primarily for the seafood sector, for both land-based and on-board units.
In 1998, Jean-Louis Sourbès founded PROCONCEPT to directly manufacture the designed equipment and ensure its distribution and service to interested manufacturers.
Our projects are based on in-depth knowledge of agri-food processes and are always designed to meet the specific needs and constraints of each manufacturer. The historical core of our business is in the seafood industry, and more specifically, the slicing and batching of smoked salmon slices. However, our experience has also allowed us to develop relevant approaches in other agri-food sectors. PROCONCEPT has genuine expertise in this field, recognized throughout the industry in France and internationally. 
With our equipment and integrated systems, we are present in Scotland, Norway, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and Canada.
PROCONCEPT is located in Southern Brittany in the heart of one of the largest food processing regions in Europe.
