DS Nature pruning poles allow you to work up to 10 m.
However, every situation is different. The modular design of our poles allows you to adapt to your specific height requirements while optimizing the overall weight of your pole. We invite you to configure your pole by following these steps:
Step 1: How many parts do I need ?
A 2 tube telescopic pole allows you to to work up to 5 m without extensions, with a weight of 1,8 Kg.
A 3 tube telescopic pole allows you to to work up to 7 m without extensions, with a weight of 2,3 Kg.
Step 2: What type of branch do I need to cut? This step helps you choose the head you will use with your pole: A stump cutter head allows you to cut branches up to 4 cm. It is useful for branches located far from the trunk (too flexible for a saw blade).
A saw head allows you to cut branches very quickly:
Up to 12.5 cm with the UV32 blade. This blade is also recommended for very dense areas because it does not have a hooked tip.
Up to 14 cm with the UV34 blade. This blade is very versatile
Up to 16 cm with the UV40 blade. This blade weighs 100 g more for cutting performance.
Step 3: Do I need additional length? If necessary, the telescopic pole can be extended with one or more DS Nature extensions up to 10 m working height without compromising rigidity! For pruning application, we recommend no more than 3 extensions for a 2 parts telescopic pole and no more than 2 extensions for a 3 parts to ensure the rigidity of your pole.
Step 4: Do I need a protective case for my blade? To extend the lifespan of your saw blade (and yours 🙂), a compatible protective case is available.
Step 5: Do I need a transport cover? A transport cover allows you to easily carry your telescopic pole, extensions, and 1 to 3 heads between job sites.
