Blue Ocean Gear

The Blue Ocean Gear buoy is a satellite beacon developed by the American start-up Blue Ocean Gear, to geolocate fishing gear and anchorages, inform the user of its position at regular intervals and issue alerts in the event of immersion or return to the surface and out of the water. This information allows detailed and immediate management of objects at sea thanks to a smartphone application, a SaaS service and the importation of data into MaxSea Time Zero on board.
This buoy is also a way to prevent the loss of fishing gear and ghost fishing.
