PHOTONICS BRETAGNE

Photonics Bretagne integrates an RTO expert in the development of specialty optical fibres & components, in biophotonics applications, and a cluster of 115+ members supporting photonics innovation in Brittany.
We provide fibre and fibre-based products and photonics consultancy services.

Photonics Bretagne represents and federates the photonics ecosystem in Brittany, France.

We integrate both a cluster and a research and technology organisation (RTO) with two complementary expertises: one in the development of specialty optical fibres and components; the other in the applications of photonics technologies to the agricultural, agrifood, biomedical and environmental industries.

The cluster supports industrial and technological development of its 100+ members in order to generate economic growth. We aim to facilitate technology transfers to local companies and to sustain the rapid growth rate of the sector in Brittany (>15% pa).

While primarily connected to photonics companies, Photonics Bretagne also strives to reach the numerous end-users in the region and beyond.
